Michael Rydman, MS, LMFT
My name is Michael R. Rydman and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 25 years total experience in both agency services and private practice. I am happy to be a therapist with HopeNET Community Counseling. I began practicing individual, marriage, and family therapy in 1998 at the Center for Human Servicesin Modesto.
Almost 2 decades of experience at CHS provided me with exposure to multiple cultures as well as a variety of mental health issues. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, grief and loss, couples counseling, and adjusting to disabilities.
I enjoy helping the clients I see at HopeNET Community Counseling. I find it highly rewarding to assist individuals in finding the “peace of mind” they seek. I maintain a moderate case load to ensure that my clients receive the best possible care and feel assured they are receiving my full attention.
Therapy is a “process” — not an event. It requires mutual trust and honesty. For me, the therapeutic relationship is the most significant component of counseling. I want to help clients recognize that we are here to help not to judge. If you or anyone you know is struggling emotionally please reach out. The sooner we accept help the sooner we feel better.
